"Avalon Inferno" HT/HP Seal & Plug Technology

Avalon recently completed the development of a non-elastomer, non-metallic sealing system for Bridge Plugs capable of sealing thru-tubing sized restrictions (1"- 4.5" diameter) at temperatures reaching 700°F and 10 000 PSI.

This technology is Patent Pending and is initially intended for use in oilsands SAGD and other high temperature applications. The system will be combined with proprietary well intervention techniques to allow clients a broader range of capabilities when working with temperature and pressure sensitive environments.

This innovation is currently being evaluated for use and adaptation to the QUP retrievable bridge plug line for an even broader range of capabilities.
